The unique contribution of Srila Prabhupada to humanity is that he presented the conclusion of all scriptures to all classes of people without discrimination. People from various cultural backgrounds also could appreciate his teachings and adopt Krishna bhakti as way of life. The greatest achievement of Srila Prabhupada was that he was able to convince the ‘hippies’(people who lost all hopes in life) to take to Krishna consciousness and made them ‘happies’. When they started following Srila Prabhupada, the magazine ‘New York Times’ wrote, “Swamiji convinces the world’s most toughest audience that he knows the way to God”. The hippies were sons/daughters of millionaires but were living in a miserable condition because they were not knowing the aim of life. The Complicated Hurdle – 3/3 This is the concluding part of the transcription of the powerful speech by our beloved Guru maharaj on Srimad Bhagavatam verse 1.1.14 aapannah samsrtim ghoraam / yan-naama vivasho grnan tatah sadyo vimucyeta / yad bibheti svayam bhayam “Living beings who are entangled in the complicated meshes of birth and death can be freed immediately by even unconsciously chanting the holy name of Krishna , which is feared by fear personified.” Srila Prabhupada writes in the purport “Vaasudeva, or Lord Krishna, the Absolute Personality of Godhead, is the Supreme controller of everything. All glories to His Divine Grace Srila Prabhupada and Srila Gurudeva.
